The Oracle Advanced DBA Training aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills essential for managing and administering Oracle DBA, RAC, Dataguard and (Advanced DBA) environments efficiently.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Oracle Database Architecture: Understand the core architecture, including memory structures, background processes, logical and physical storage, and multitenant environments.
Database Creation & Management: Learn to create and manage standard databases, CDBs, and PDBs, including cloning, unplugging, and plugging PDBs.
Database Connectivity & Security: Gain expertise in database connectivity, user account management, granting roles and privileges, and configuring authentication mechanisms.
Tablespace & Storage Management: Master creating, altering, and encrypting tablespaces, managing storage space, and reclaiming unused space.
Oracle Net Services & Network Configuration: Configure and manage Oracle Net Services, listeners, database links, and troubleshoot connectivity using tools like tnsping.
Backup & Recovery Using RMAN: Learn RMAN backup concepts, incremental backups, retention policies, and perform complete/incomplete database recovery scenarios.
High Availability with Data Guard: Configure and manage Data Guard for high availability, perform switchover/failover using DGMGRL, and maintain snapshot standby databases.
Oracle RAC & Clusterware Administration: Deploy and manage Oracle RAC clusters, administer ASM instances, manage backup and recovery for RAC, and configure load balancing.
Exadata Database Machine: Understand Exadata architecture, hardware configurations, smart scan, smart flash cache, and migrate databases to Exadata.
Patching, Upgrading & Database Cloning: Perform database patching, upgrade from Oracle 12.2 to 19c, manage rolling upgrades, and duplicate databases using RMAN.
